The "re-imagined" 2000s Battlestar Galactica ends with the survivors of the Twelve Colonies finding Earth as an undeveloped planet with only semi-intelligent life [TEABRAINER JOKE OMITTED]. The series ends with Season 4, Episode 20, where the decision is made to follow a low-tech and no-government approach to rebuilding the human race. The video depicts a fanfic view of what Episode 21 would rightly show.
One can quibble about the exact applicability. (Just not here--I don't allow comments! LOLOLOL) That is reasonable. That said, I hope viewers will consider the similarities between the decision made in the story and the seeming rejection of government and group mindedness by libertarians and the Tea Party movement (although wisely neither proposes to give up the technological advances which have been facilitated by government and cooperation). Note the quotes at the end, and consider.
