Man being evicted because terrorists don't like him
When Limbaugh-esque self-interest aids our enemies. This fellow's landlord is actually aiding terrorists by doing what most conservative-types would do--putting money and their own interests ahead of the War on Terror.

First, note how the one protester seems to think--just like the Democrats in the sit-in in Congress awhile back--that the media is simply part of their movement. And second, the police kinda failed this guy here. Which leads to my third point, which is that people on "our" side should never engage in these sorts of solo actions. Rather, go in in tight groups, practiced in group tactics, and with cover--both cameras and security. I've done street activism, and I know the tricks.
Why current violence means we need the Second Amendment EVEN MORE!
Something I wrote about this picture to explain the Second Amendment as necessary and proper, even in light of the current violence in the country:
"A Korean neighborhood in Los Angeles survived riots that destroyed the area around them, because they were armed. Something similar happened in Ferguson a couple of years ago. Ultimately, it boils down to the idea that to have to submit to criminality is repugnant. We may not be able to take the law into our own hands, but to mandate by law and condition the common decent and rational person to stand down to criminal, insurrectionist, and terrorist threats goes against every sense of human dignity. To put it in more liberal terms, it is the ultimate violation of 'human rights.'"

Donald Trump statement on recent Dallas shootings
Last night’s horrific execution-style shootings of 12 Dallas law enforcement officers – five of whom were killed and seven wounded- is an attack on our country. It is a coordinated, premeditated assault on the men and women who keep us safe.
We must restore law and order. We must restore the confidence of our people to be safe and secure in their homes and on the street.
The senseless, tragic deaths of two motorists in Louisiana and Minnesota reminds us how much more needs to be done.
This morning I offer my thoughts and prayers for all of the victims’ families, and we pray for our brave police officers and first responders who risk their lives to protect us every single day.
Our nation has become too divided. Too many Americans feel like they’ve lost hope. Crime is harming too many citizens. Racial tensions have gotten worse, not better. This isn’t the American Dream we all want for our children.
This is a time, perhaps more than ever, for strong leadership, love and compassion. We will pull through these tragedies.

CRITIQUE OF Ann Coulter: My VP Prediction — Donald Trump's First Mistake
My comment on Diana West's posting of this article by The Legged One, Ann Coulter:
You two are gonna ruin it. First, anyone taking the VP slot will be prepared to face the, "Look what that bigot Trump said!" inquiry.
Second, "Staffs" can't do it all. He needs some sort of insider who knows who is good and who is bad for staff.
Third--specifically for Newt Gingrich--Trump's weak point is KNOWLEDGE. Trump is, to adapt a phrase used about him, a "Tea Partier with a bank balance." He simply doesn't know a lot of the things involved in what it takes to operate in government, politics, and related non-commercial, non-personal endeavors ("TRIAD," anyone?). Gingrich is smart--very smart. He is NOT the typical double-digit IQ Tea Party-type who thinks women can't get pregnant from rape (Todd Akin), can't count to 21 without getting naked, or can't spell or even read what he's tweeting (Daniel Scavino Jr.).
Fourth, Diana West, you are making the mistake so many libertarian-types make--most people don't agree with you on some of your more esoteric ideas. Trump got away with alluding to conspiracy theories to draw in some from the tinfoil-hat crowd because he's "the last great hope for America" (thank you, Robert Davi), and because he's Donald Trump! It's not that most people believe them. Some of his supporters took umbrage at his citing of lines straight from MoveOn[dot]org. They are much more mainstream--both generally mainstream, and mainstream conservative/Right--and they would like someone a little more mainstream (like Gingrich, Jeff Sessions, Mike Pence, etc.) on the ticket to give it--and the Trump administration--some balance and reality.
As for Ann Coulter, remember, she wanted Mitt Romney to be the VP for the longest time. She's not thinking totally straight here (I can already hear the jokes and shots on that one). I loved that line negative of someone being "in love with his own press notices." No one holds a candle to Trump on that one.
You are not going to get an administration of Trump and mini-Trump. It would be both unelectable and incapable.

These false attacks by Hillary Clinton trying to link the Star of David with a basic star, often used by sheriffs who deal with criminals and criminal behavior, showing an inscription that says “Crooked Hillary is the most corrupt candidate ever” with anti-Semitism is ridiculous. Clinton, through her surrogates, is just trying to divert attention from the dishonest behavior of herself and her husband.
The real questions are, why was Bill Clinton meeting secretly with the US Attorney General on her case and where are the 33,000 missing emails and all of the other information missing from her case - Why are there so many lies?

The social media graphic used this weekend was not created by the campaign nor was it sourced from an anti-Semitic site. It was lifted from an anti-Hillary Twitter user where countless images appear.
The sheriff’s badge – which is available under Microsoft’s “shapes” - fit with the theme of corrupt Hillary and that is why I selected it.
As the Social Media Director for the campaign, I would never offend anyone and therefore chose to remove the image.

Tragically, reclamation of national identity may well be a lost cause in several European states. But it is not yet lost in America. The feelings of gratitude and appreciation for being American, and of understanding what America has meant to ourselves and to the wider world, still run deep in much of the population, in spite of prevailing cultural antipathies toward such attitudes. But those sensibilities are endangered by insufficient transmission of American identity from one generation to the next and are in dire need of reinforcement.
