Upshot on Comey testimony--Trump not involved in collusion seemed a given!
Upshot on Comey hearings: 1. Comey's firing came three months, many events, lousy performance, and one Rosenstein memo AFTER the talk about Flynn. Not fired "summarily," as one Senator suggested. 2. Trump is not and was not under personal investigation in the Russia investigation, and indeed wanted the job done right, even though it was a cloud interfering with his doing his job. 3. Comey was too wimpy to deal with the President on places he was feeling "uncomfortable." 4. MSM reports of massive Russian contacts with Trump campaign debunked. 5. And this is the whole crux of the hearing: Trump expressed his "hope" only about one "good man," not the whole Russia investigation. Whereas Trump could have ordered nothing further be done with Flynn and his mistakes but did not, and whereas the firing is so far removed from that issue as to be unconnected, there was no obstruction.
