MY COMMENT: This is basically women wanting to have the cake and bake it too.

Women couldn’t easily get credit cards without their husbands signature until 1964. Coincidentally, that’s about when credit card debt started to skyrocket. Aside from that tidbit, the discussion isn’t much more than women wanting traditional benefits without giving up their “liberation.”
