The comment I left: To credit CAIR as a "civil rights organization" is comparable to crediting Al Qaeda as an "urban renewal organization" for knocking down the World Trade Center. Their efforts against Juan Williams was nothing but a branch of worldwide Jihad. To say NPR "overreacted" is like saying Sadaam Hussein "overreacted" to an assassination plot by killing 148 of his citizens simply because they lived in the same village as the plotters. NPR yielded to political bias and pressure from an organization with ties to entities known for sawing the heads off of their opponents. CAIR should be shut down. NPR should be defunded.
