2. Girl demonstrates looks of frustration.
3. Girl tells old man in his study, him sitting in his chair with his back to the camera, of her going out for the evening. She leaves in her expensive car. (Possible: Show old man reaching into desk drawer for something unseen.)
CHORUS: Scenes of her driving, looking slightly dejected, interspersed with performance scenes.
4. Beginning with the boy, scenes bounce between him and the girl driving, with emphasis on her and her improving countenance.
5. Girl arrives and rushes. Romantic scenes, maybe PG-plus. She talks to him, then “pulls away” in her vehicle. He is shown smiling at the end.
CHORUS: She is shown driving, gradually looking more dejected, but mostly performance scenes.
6. Girl is in robe as if she’s gotten up out of bed, getting a drink in the old man’s study and staring out the window. She contemplates her situation, and seems almost genuinely confused with herself. Just the slightest little nudge to feel sympathy for her. Just the slightest.
7. “Boy she knew in school” is shown in a brief flashback to be the guy she met earlier.
8. Old man enters to accredit him with the “My, oh, my…” monologue. He slaps down pictures on the desk showing her that he knows what she’s been up to. Then he takes the other hand out of his own robe pocket and jerks it forward toward her. His hand is out of camera shot, so viewer left to wonder if he points for her to leave or puts a bullet in her.
CHORUS: Some performance scenes, but featuring the old man nodding to an aide or security guy. He looks out the window at a vehicle, not the girl’s car, leaving in the night. Is the aide taking her away alive or dead?
