I'm not sure if I'd have volunteered for this. I'd have just gotten off fighting commies in Spain.


The video mentions weapons shortages. Something Americans would have had some access to was the Winchester 1895 in 7.62mm x 54R rifle made for Russia during WW1. Many were sent to Spain to help the Leftists, so maybe I could have acquired some for the fight in Finland.
