Subject: National GOP platform opposes foreign law!
National GOP platform includes support of ALAC concept ACT! for America grassroots "people power" continues to win victories Dear Lee, ACT! for America led the passage of American Laws for American Courts (ALAC) in Tennessee, Arizona and Kansas. For instance, in Kansas we generated 30,000 phone calls and emails to state legislators. ALAC prohibits state courts from applying foreign law, which would include sharia law, when doing so conflicts with the Constitution or constitutional rights. ACT! for America led the efforts to add anti-sharia law or anti-foreign law resolutions to the platforms of FIVE state Republican parties. Now we're proud to announce that ACT! for America has helped win the inclusion of an anti-foreign law resolution in the NATIONAL Republican Party platform. Hundreds of ACT! for America members logged on to the GOP platform website in support of proposals that mirror ALAC. Our message was clear and our voice was strong—and it was heard!
