Mayor Bloomberg has certainly made many mistakes in some of his law enforcement steps (e.g., on guns). That said, when something is right, it must be pointed out as right. Conspiracy theorists will no doubt slam this, forgetting that the only preventative to abuse of power is for those lazy people I liked to call--well, I don't LIKE to call them this, but I must--the American people to use their authority to put people who won't abuse power in office (or at least will only abuse for a right reason). This is a right and necessary thing to do. Critics need to just shut up about it.
COMMENT: When "freedom" is taken to a point where it endangers freedom, it debunks itself. These reporters and other critics are cutting their own throats. Or rather, opening the way for people who want to cut their throats.
