Gingrich on the Miss Venezuela smear against Trump

Regards the "Miss Piggy/Miss Housekeeping" scandal Hillary is trying to smear Trump with.  The scandal itself is nothing.  The former shot was certainly apt, and the second--even taken at its worst-was hardly extreme for the time (or even necessarily today).  The lesson Newt Gingrich points out is how effective Hillary's campaign was in setting it up, and how utterly in the tank IN ADVANCE the news media was on this, in order to distract from the real issues raised by the debate.

Price jump in crisis situations supposedly makes people only buy what they need, leaving some for others. It has its weaknesses to say the least, but it's the nature of our economic system. MY COMMENT : (VIDEO WAS SPONSORED BY A COMPANY SELLING SUCH GEAR.) Non-vet civilians will never (legitimately) be running fire-and-maneuver calling for all that gear. In a real and legitimate Militia situation they will be fire support, set-position defense, and logistics. A simple mag pack is quite sufficient. Beyond that, anything much more than a pack or such for evacuating in a disaster is a hobby at best and a delusion at worst. I'm a vet. I served in a combat zone. I have a vest, CamelBak, and pack which I acquired during my service, and keep solely to be able to quickly bug out of town in a disaster, be it on foot or in an official evac vehicle with limited space. To non-vet LARPers: Buy what you want. Support this guy's sponsor. But keep in mind you are NOT the same as veterans. You lack the training and DISCIPLINE that veterans had drilled into them.
