Sent: Friday, November 9, 2012 12:12 PM Subject: In the footsteps of our Founding Fathers Visit our News page Following in the footste ps of our Founding Fathers by Guy Rodgers, Exec. Director Dear Lee, Would you do me the favor of taking a few minutes to read this email all the way to the end? Yesterday we received an email in response to the email I sent out on Wednesday entitled "What now?" The person emailing us expressed concern that the three fact statements in my Wednesday email regarding the Obama administration were "polarizing." The person sending it urged that, instead of criticizing the Obama administration, we work with the administration to resolve these issues. Without a doubt the person who emailed us was sincere and heartfelt, which I can understand, given how combative the presidential campaign was. It is a worthy aspiration to hope that somehow people can come together and work toward a mutu...

ARTICLE (with my Assessment): "The permanent sunset of the Republican party is begun"

http://senseofevents.blogspot.com/2012/11/the-permanent-sunset-of-republican.html v   QUICK ASSESSMENT: As I was saying yesterday, the American people do indeed want a more socialistic economic system. On that sort of thing, I agree with the article and believe that the GOP as it's been known for decades is declining. He goes a little far on the social side, which is where I believe the conservative/Right needs to focus (as I said). In Europe, conservative/Rightwing parties did well a few years ago in part by arguing for fiscal conservatism, but there are two caveats to that:   1. (And this is the big point) They were successful by actually usurping some Leftist issues (like healthcare and the environment).   Putting this together in an American context, the conservative/Right needs to reorient and reorganize its...

What now with this blog?

I have done little on this blog during the election, as I was focused on more partisan efforts via Facebook.  Now that the election is passed, and my Facebook work will be curtailed, my work here will also change.  I will start back with some updates from A4A and NRA, but little more than that until the situation settles and there is a clear(er) picture of what I am supposed to do.   Thank you to those few who look at this.

Three reasons conservatives didn't win the Presidency.

Three reasons conservatives didn't win the Presidency: 1. The American people want a more socialistic economy. 2. Conservatives are intellectually and academically dumb (e.g., Todd Akin and other Teabrainers are too influential). 3. Obama is Black.   Proper responses to each: 1. Accept this reality as the choice of the American people, and focus on maintain non-economic factors, such as national heritage, national sovereignty, private right to arms, and respect for foundational ethnic and religious demographics (Whites and Christians). 2. Research matters before speaking on them, and admit that, "Well, I jes' kinda think..." is not high intellectual credibility. 3. Too late for this term, but try to crack White Liberal Guilt for next time.
