Besides baseball and anything having to do with shooting, perhaps no sport better captures the true essence and demeanor of the regular American than this--the Demolition Derby.


The demolition derby last night at the Delaware County Fair in the ‪#‎catskills‬. Just one of many heats. Vanessa the kids and I had an amazing time and ate way too much fried food and ice cream. At the derby the kids went from total shock to not wanting to leave. ‪#‎goodtimes‬ ‪#‎familytime‬ ‪#‎family‬ ‪#‎demolitionderby‬

Why This Ammo Shortage Is Different - YouTube MY COMMENT : It goes to how capitalism rations supplies. Price jump in crisis situations supposedly makes people only buy what they need, leaving some for others. It has its weaknesses to say the least, but it's the nature of our economic system. An alternative would be a government-directed rationing system--so much ammo per family based on size, nature, caliber, and need. MY COMMENT : (VIDEO WAS SPONSORED BY A COMPANY SELLING SUCH GEAR.) Non-vet civilians will never (legitimately) be running fire-and-maneuver calling for all that gear. In a real and legitimate Militia situation they will be fire support, set-position defense, and logistics. A simple mag pack is quite sufficient. Beyond that, anything much more than a pack or such for evacuating in a disaster is a hobby at best and a delusion at worst. I'm a vet. I served in a combat zone. I have a vest, CamelBak, and pack which I acquired during my service, and keep solely to be able to quickly bug out of town in a disaster, be it on foot or in an official evac vehicle with limited space. To non-vet LARPers: Buy what you want. Support this guy's sponsor. But keep in mind you are NOT the same as veterans. You lack the training and DISCIPLINE that veterans had drilled into them.
