About the show: ""Kids Incorporated" was a live-action kids' show of the mid-1980s and early 1990s. It was about a band of the same name composed of (more-or-less) young people. They would do covers--excellent ones, in my fan opinion--of popular songs (plus a few original numbers)."

The first version is from Season 2 (1985) and features Marta Marrero--later known as "Martika" (of "Toy Soldiers" fame). The second is from Season 4 after she (and backup dancer Mario Lopez of "Saved By The Bell" fame) left. But people with better hearing than me think it's the same recording, claiming to hear Martika's voice even though replaced by a little Asian girl (Connie Lew). However, both the time hacks and listening show the latter to be slowed down.

Judge for yourself which rendering is better. I will say as far as the videos go, the 1987 version is probably better, with lead Renee Sands slightly older and looking more the part for the lead, and the supporting characters more on point. But the 1985 version does have Martika, so there's that.

Price jump in crisis situations supposedly makes people only buy what they need, leaving some for others. It has its weaknesses to say the least, but it's the nature of our economic system. MY COMMENT : (VIDEO WAS SPONSORED BY A COMPANY SELLING SUCH GEAR.) Non-vet civilians will never (legitimately) be running fire-and-maneuver calling for all that gear. In a real and legitimate Militia situation they will be fire support, set-position defense, and logistics. A simple mag pack is quite sufficient. Beyond that, anything much more than a pack or such for evacuating in a disaster is a hobby at best and a delusion at worst. I'm a vet. I served in a combat zone. I have a vest, CamelBak, and pack which I acquired during my service, and keep solely to be able to quickly bug out of town in a disaster, be it on foot or in an official evac vehicle with limited space. To non-vet LARPers: Buy what you want. Support this guy's sponsor. But keep in mind you are NOT the same as veterans. You lack the training and DISCIPLINE that veterans had drilled into them.
