For example, in Arizona an ACT! for America chapter leader spearheaded the behind-the-scenes effort to get the bill passed. Without the efforts of this chapter leader, ALAC would not be law in Arizona. Would five state Republican Party platforms now have resolutions opposing sharia law? No. ACT! for America chapter leaders led the effort in all five states. Would an analysis of how Islam is treated in public school textbooks been mailed to 70,000 school board members, laying the groundwork for efforts in 2013 to pressure publishers to revise the textbooks? No. These are just three examples of how things would look very different today if ACT! for America had "never been born." If we had space we could give you dozens more. The choices made yesterday determined the course of events today, and the decisions we make today do indeed determine the course of events tomorrow. People who supported ACT! for America in the past made possible our past and current victories. Those who support us now will make possible our future victories.
