While I'll still do some arguing down and F-bombing of detractors, the time has come for me and this blog to step back to other projects. It's time to let Donald J. Trump do what we elected him to do. He's a pragmatic, not ideological, man--thus some people are alarmed by specific ideas of his. He's a blunt talker, but a deal maker--thus some people are worried at the slightest hint of a conciliatory approach or openness to listening. The simple point is: You believed him enough to vote for him. So believe him enough to let him work things out. And for those who opposed him, well... Remember, he's Donald Trump! Just be afraid. Be VERY afraid.

Newt Gingrich said this morning that if you leave out California--very liberal, and GOP NEVER competes there in Presidential elections, not a bit--Trump led in the popular vote by two million. Had he competed in the Land of Nuts and Fruits and Flakes, he quite easily might have picked up enough votes to win the popular vote.
