UPDATE: More info here.  It was a 20-lb feral cat, and the guy was legitimately defending himself.  Sad about the cat, but still... The comments asking about the policy are great at pointing out the stupidity of the policy.  C4P is not concerned about the matter being a "distraction," but rather because it violates their Glenn-Beck-esque PC White Liberal Guilt sensitivities.  Their censoring of Palin herself on the matter is proof enough.  Like with their efforts to deny Palin's position on homosexuality (Palin believes it's a choice, while C4P is more liberal and buys into the global-warming-esque myth that they are "born that way"), C4P can't accept the reality--and accuracy--of Palin's position.  (Of course, I consider Ann Coulter a moderate!)
