The problem with this scenario, as great as the song is, is that the guy is entering her home without permission and setting up a he-said/she-thinks situation. Truly, he'd need a witness or two nowadays. Find a friend or two, at least one female, to help him deliver her. Should the drunk girl try a morning-after story, he will have cover and backup.
