I will link to her White Guilt “privilege” comment, but not post it. As Megyn Kelly notes, it does seem insincere. That does not cancel out the fact that she made it.
Something that I have always given “Evolutionary science” credit for is that they do identify patterns in genetics. This can be useful in a number of ways, whether you believe in that theory or not. Here we do see the identification of genuine differences in racial strains, regardless of how one may believe they came to be. Yet for PC reasons, we are to deny them.
Before, during, and after the War Between the States, there were moves and efforts to transport freed slaves and other Blacks “back to Africa.” But most refused, not wanting to return to the shithole where their “bruthas” had captured and sold them. They wanted to stay here, a far better land where their presence only resulted from that slavery, and their freedom from slavery, resulting from the shedding of much White blood. If their descendants don’t like that, they should blame their own ancestors. And then leave.
(For the record, they probably made the wrong decision all the way around. Liberia was waiting.)
What happened to the 10,000,000 votes that gave Joe Biden that famed 81,000,000-vote total? Compared to previous voting patterns, they seemed to appear out of nowhere in 2020 solely to defeat Donald Trump. Yet they didn’t appear to defeat him for years later. Nor did they vote FOR him. And third-party candidates only accounted for less than 2 1/2 million votes.
Some readers may remember the “Chinese fuel filters” advertised on YouTube and elsewhere, which were actually firearm sound suppressors. They were clearly portrayed as such, with thinly-veiled labeling. It turns out, of course, that these Chinese imports for being monitored by the ATF’nE, and the number of morons actually got caught buying them. YouTuber “Liberty Doll” actually tried defending one on her channel.
Well, I may have spotted another one. No link unfortunately, but here are a couple of screenshots and basic info on an ad for a small revolver with a range of 10 meters which can supposedly get through airport detection systems. Portrayed as making it useful in self-defense. The video had an AI voice with a slight accent. And information as seen in the picture places the company in Taiwan. I failed to click the link. Somehow I am not regretful of this.
Note: Megyn Kelly has announced she will be speaking (EDIT: see HERE FOR RALLY VIDEO) at President Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania tonight (04 November 2024).
Kelly has demonstrated willingness to criticize President Trump. Her support for him and opposition to Kamala Harris is genuinely reached, not as a sycophant, but as an intelligent person considering the facts.
Below are two snippets from her show today. She makes reference to why abortion should not be an issue in this particular selection. (I posted briefly about this before HERE.)
This intervening guy in the linked video had better be a regular customer or an Asset Protection dude, or he is most certainly fired. The store can’t let a regular employee do this.
Companies fear lawsuits. We can change the law to protect them from such suits. But then employees might overreach, causing public outrage in the law to be changed back… Etc. etc.
No system works. If a store can do enough to stop this sort of thing, they can infringe on people’s rights. If the store is restrained enough to not so infringe, they are open to such a criminal action attempt being successful.
We could try a straight-up, “It all depends on if the guy actually was a thief,” and put liability on the individual. Then there would be all sorts of PC problems. Statistics would eventually show a disproportionate amount of criminal action by certaiN demographics. Plus, there would be questions of “profiling” and “disparate treatment/impact.”
So, between personal rights and “civil rights,” we are forced to allow flagrant thievery. Don’t you just love our “freedom”?
(HERE for a mashup making “Stacy’s mom,” “Jessie’s girl,” and “Sweet Caroline” out to be the same person. I know there are other take offs on the Fountains of Wayne tune. Maybe one day I’ll listen to them.)
Regarding seeming contradictions between this and the original:
- “I don’t know you well” — Trying to downplay and even cover up her interest in the boy after realizing his interest in her mother (and being disappointed); maybe should be, “don’t know you THAT well”.
- Denial of pool — ??? No excuse on that one.
- Father “walked out” — Original narrator is confused/deluded, and Stacy is saying, “Yeah, he ‘walked out,’ but FOR WORK!”
Excellent exposition by the Sargon guest chick of how the Globalist/Left seeks to equate upholding the value and distinction of American citizenship and legal residency in opposing illegals with Hitler’s actions against certain demographics of his own country. THAT is what they mean when they issue their “Nazi” charges against President Trump and MAGA. Remember that.
Unfortunately, she has to avoid the PC trap by attributing Democrat policies to financial and economic motivation. She cannot, particularly at this moment in the campaign, go into the sociocultural – and that includes racial – motivations. It is, of course, part of the anti-White/Western heritage agenda of the Globalist/Left.
Dan Bongino spoke about this a while back. This really is a big deal. This constitutes fundamental “institutional bias” against then-candidate Trump. This discredits anything done by DOJ against President Trump. This will justify President Trump destroying anything – and anyone – associated with that organization which he may wish to destroy.
One point on the Swindell versions: You gotta have both. You need the base version telling the story application, and then the combo version to max it out and consolidate.
As of now, no one directly commenting seems to recognize the similarity between Brett Cooper’s story below, and the 1997 Tim McGraw song, “Just to see you smile.”
Even if true, the thing about John Kelly’s assertions is that when executives are in private settings, they need to be able to express thoughts without having to worry about total PC. They need to be able to rely on confidentiality. And they need to be able to say things in shorthand and without having to qualify every single statement, and yet still be understood in context. When Kelly claimed he told President Trump that certain things “shouldn’t be said,” he destroyed his own cred. He showed himself incapable of operating outside of PC. Thus, not only does his claim represent a breach of confidentiality and prejudicial concealing of context, it exposes his own ideology as in league with our enemies within.
[EDIT] Pop-culture reference: Think of the Star Trek TOS episode “Space Seed.” Kirk, Bones, and Scotty befuddled Spock by admiring and being against Khan at the same time. Kelly knows this is what Trump was doing.
No politics here. I have a playlist of two versions of “An American Trilogy.” One is the Elvis Presley version from Hawaii in 1973, and the other is Manowar’s soft metal version. For some reason, when I select one from the playlist, it will show the other as the channel. And this has repeated itself. Screenshots below.
How the hell does this sort of thing happen? And as I said, it repeated itself.
Playlist HERE. Terrific song, and I recommend both versions.
In addition to providing security directly and indirectly to those less fortunate, we see that just like with pharmaceuticals, it is the American consumer who has been subsidizing foreigners. We pay more for our stuff so the companies can sell them for less overseas. Those foreign countries should be thanking us.
“The Secret Cinema” is a short story film about a woman (“Jane”) secretly being filmed in her life, with episodes being shown to a select audience. It is compared by many to the 1990s “The Truman Show,” but the producers of that movie claim not to have known of the previous work. Who knows?
The original one was produced in 1966, with wider distribution in 1968, and the 1985 version was made as an episode of the NBC anthology series, “Amazing Stories.” Both were made by the same person. I had seen the 1980s version sometime ago, and re-watched it immediately after watching the 1966 version.
MY ASSESSMENT: The original, in black-and-white, definitely has the feel of a low-budget independent work of the time. The ‘80s version was obviously better in terms of production quality. The original storywise was darker in tone, at times almost mystical, and definitely a product of its time. The remake replaced the darkness with campiness, again being a product of its time. The remake’s story flow also seemed more plausible – not actually plausible, just more so than the original (with one huge exception). There’s also is true to the relative time difference, given the increased sophistication of audiences.
True to its more sophisticated audience, the remake deals with certain specific issues raised in the original. Examples include people thinking that Jane is an on the whole thing, as well as the issue of Jane being paid.
Not sure whether to be happy at the irony or disappointed that a beautiful White woman would support her country (Rhodesia) being usurped as “Zimbabwe.”
Obviously one of my favorite Facebook groups. A number of memes and photo captions referencing the eating of cats by Haitian migrants can be found there. It is supposed to be non-political, but with a topic like guns, just how non-political can it be.
“What do I think is a bigger problem — insulting 20,000 people, or the fact that my constituents can’t live a good life because Kamala Harris opened the border?” — future VP JD Vance
I am trying to be big-picture here. Her “liking” of Swift’s post definitely drops her a couple of notches in my book, if for reasons of perception only. She is still, though, a White woman facing persecution and abuse from Blacks, even if she is supporting the side that encourages it.
Of course, we can’t comment on the reality of this video: “When you’re a member of a disproportionally law-abiding and intelligent race that doesn’t burn down its own communities, this is how things can go for you.”
I’d probably be doxxed for saying that there. But it’s true.
The Hodgetwins are a Black conservative comedy and commentary duo. And yes, they are twin brothers. Obviously, their race is an issue, so it is interesting that they have some sort of promotional ad (Facebook vid HERE) picturing the General Lee in full colors (yes, with the battle flag).
But then there’s this. Responding to Cancellation efforts against a White YouTuber who dares say “nigga” (I rarely encrypt such things), they had this to say:
Nice of them to support her. But notice a key phrase: “our word.” Hmm. They use the word, and they claim a collective possession of it with “Black people.”
I could play around with this, but the point is obvious: As conservative as these bros may be, they are clearly in league with their racial identity in asserting that THEY may use it, but White people… Yeah.
The lesson here is that no matter how “conservative” a Black person may be, they are still Black. And they often if not universally identify as such as a very high part of their professed position in society. Yet White people, the founding demographic of this country, are effectively prohibited from any sort of positive racial identification.
I remember the late Herman Cain claiming his identity as “ABC”– “American,” “BLACK,” and “conservative.” And he explicitly said it was in that order. He put his country first, which is good, but his race preceded his ideology. So in the event of a conflict between what he believed to be the best sociopolitical approach to things and the supposed interests of his ethnic group, he would side his ethnic group – the Black minority. What does this say of his likely position in the event of a full-on racial insurrection?
The point: However things shake out, however the situation in America may develop, and whoever with whom you may find yourself in a foxhole, literal or figurative,… Always keep this in mind.
Less than five minutes. Gutfeld makes excellent point comparing trans surgery, which liberals approve, to “conversion therapy,” which liberals oppose. It all goes to agenda, not compassion.
Liberals really have embraced their crazies, while conservatives reject their crazies.
These ladies, especially Kosha Gada, put the issue of Walz’s Stolen Valor into a somewhat more practical perspective than I’ve seen elsewhere. This is especially true in how they counter Dems’ attempts to characterize Vance’s own combat record to mitigate Walz’s counterfactual claims. Too many Trump supporting personalities here are Teabraining the matter, overreaching and mischaracterizing the issue, and doing more harm than good. I try not to jump too hard on technical errors or overgeneralizations, but people shouldn’t throw around terms and concepts they don’t understand.
(Apparently Blogspot is changing things, so I need an app or something to post pictures and embed videos. I will figure it out.)
Kamala Harris’ “unburdened by what has been” line has been widely labeled as a word salad. Perhaps it is, but it does have a meaning – a very Marxist meaning. It is about changing our past, which means our heritage.
I have resisted explaining this to people, given the tiring nature of having to deal with Teabrainery. Perhaps it’s ironic that it’s Charlie Kirk of TPUSA putting this out.
COMMENT: The flaw in Kennedy’s statement about how we have so much in common is that the Left genuinely doesn’t ideologically share those concerns. They want our children to be worse off than us, by virtue of wanting the decline of Western civilization. Whether it’s proactively seeking that outcome for their own children, or simply being ambivalent about it insubordination to their ideology, it simply is not a concern we equally share.
The discussion really focuses mostly on Kat Timph’s pregnancy, but does mention the adoration of Kamala Harris as being strictly partisan.
‘Gutfeld!’: What’s behind Kamala’s ‘meteoric’ rise? (04 AUG 2024)
