Virginia residents may soon learn the reality of 2A "resistance to tyranny." They have guns, but without the power of the State--that is, the constituent states of our Union--they are virtually useless. Contrary to libertarians and the like, the Founders intended the People's private arms to be used in conjunction with the several States against FEDERAL tyranny. Note James Madison's words from Federalist 46:  "Besides the advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation, the existence of subordinate governments, to which the people are attached, and by which the militia officers are appointed, forms a barrier against the enterprises of ambition, more insurmountable than any which a simple government of any form can admit of." Modern counties and cities can try to play that role, but in our country states reign over them. Sheriffs and police chiefs "resisting" can be replaced. And even if not ...

President Trump would be justified in using kinetic force--military, law enforcement, special agencies, 2A civilian Militia, etc.--in destroying the "Resistance" insurrection. There are no restrictions. This is war.

The Founders were the liberal/Left of their time. As "revolutionaries," they liked "freedom of the press." What they didn't understand in those pre-Marx days was that a "free press" would keep pulling to what would later be called, "the Left." What we are now seeing is how the "freedom" they guaranteed in 1A is pulling White/Western civilization into obliteration. If "freedom" is the priority, then we are destined to die. If heritage in its truest and most natural sense is the priority, then "freedom" must take a backseat to loyalty and survival.

Anti-gunner says that self-defense advice is blaming the victim. She goes on to in effect equate self-defense with violent criminal assault. She has no moral right to speak, IMO. Here's what happened regarding comms around Trump Tower meeting: The calls are irrelevant, since as Shitt noted, comms could have been done face to face. Trump Jr probably did communicate to his father he had Hillary dirt involving Russia coming, but didn't mention meeting: 1. Plausible deniability; 2. Common corporate practice of not overloading with details. This is why Trump made announcement of forthcoming dirt. Comms after, by whatever means, were that Don Jr had come up empty, with no reference in that context to a meeting (same reasons). This is why Trump cancelled that announcement. Most likely the meeting was referenced in some vague way at some time, but in context of Magnitsky. Trump noted when the story came out he recalled Magnitsky being a topic at the time, and wondered himself if he had had some knowledge. Call it "fog of war."

AN HISTORICAL COMPARISON: Remington Model 8 (top) and Winchester 1907. The Remington was probably the better combat rifle (especially when in the Model 81 layout), but the Winchester is better looking.
