HDR 107(1): "Can't See London, Can't See France, Unless We See Your Underpants."*

Just think...soon Nancy Nitwit will be subject to the same techniques as you & me. I hope they keep these things around for that reason alone!

ALOHA, ALL! Isn't America a marvelous country?  We're going broke, yet the big story is about those nasty airport scanners.  "Don't touch my junk" is now as famous a phrase as "don't taze me, bro." Who knew that going through airport security would provide us such non-stop material?  By now you've heard about the guy who refused a TSA "pat-down" and how he was promptly told he could not board his flight AND that he would be prosecuted:  Video Interview With John Tyner Is this a violation of his rights?  Is this a violation…period?  As Rush Limbaugh put it:  Napolitano Feels You Up But Lets Mohammed Straight Through. And this is not far from the truth.  My friend Lee sent me a link to his blog about how CAIR is claiming that full body scans and pat-downs violate sharia law:  Cats, Guns and Sarah Palin Blog.  So let's see…..if I buy a hijab will I be handled with kid gloves?  (Pun intended.)  I average about 150,00 miles a year on airplanes because of my job, so anything I can do to streamline the process would be welcomed.  Or, I could stop working altogether and just let 0bama take care of me.  And I'll bet few people know that the nation's airports are not required to have Transportation Security Administration screeners checking passengers at security checkpoints. The 2001 law creating the TSA gave airports the right to opt out of the TSA program in favor of private screeners after a two-year period:  Amid Airport Anger, GOP Takes Aim At Screening (thanks to Ben for that great article!)

Speaking of Sharia…..on November 2, 70% of Oklahomans approved a measure that bans judges from deciding cases based on ANY international  law, shariah law.  Along comes US District Judge Vicki Miles LeGrange, who issued a temporary restraining order to block the ban.  Of course, CAIR is elated:  "We are humbled by this opportunity to show our fellow Oklahomans that Muslims are their neighbors and that we are committed to upholding the U.S. Constitution and promoting the benefits of a pluralistic society."  RIIIIIIIGHT.  Judge Temporarily Blocks Oklahoma Sharia Ban

Speaking of London & France…..There used to be all kinds of developed countries that gave away their citizenship as freely as we do in the U.S.  But one by one they all have recognized the folly of that policy.  SOME MODERN COUNTRIES THAT RECENTLY ENDED THEIR BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP POLICY:
  • Canada was the last non-U.S. holdout. Illegal aliens stopped getting citizenship for their babies in 2009.
  • Australia's birthright citizenship requirements are much more stringent than those of HR 1868 (the bill to eliminate birthright citizenship) and took effect in 2007.
  • New Zealand repealed in 2006.
  • Ireland repealed in 2005.
  • France repealed in 1993.
  • India repealed in 1987.
  • United Kingdom repealed in 1983.
  • Portugal repealed in 1981.
That's right, every other modern developed nation in the world has gotten rid of birthright citizenship policies.  The US stands alone!  (Thanks to Jan for the info)

I wonder how many "Made in USA" labels there are at this mall?

Blood Will Shoot Out Of Your Eyes! (To quote Glenn Beck)  Did you know that Hillary Clinton (on behalf of the 0bama administration) just gave  $150 million in "aid" to the Palestinian Authority?  Oh, but that's not the best part:  Barry & Hill have given the Palestinians nearly $600 million this year in support and investments. That's right – we're going broke but we're giving people who danced in the streets to celebrate on 9/11 money.  OUR money!  Here's a great re-cap of all the money given to these dirtbags:  Logistics Monster:  AYFKM?  New Round of Aid to Palestinian Authority And just in case you've forgotten how distressed they were on 9/11/01:  Palestinians Celebrating the Fall of the Twin Towers But we should feel compassion for these suffering people:  New Shopping Mall Opens in Gaza City

Elections Have ConsequencesGerrymandering is the practice of setting up congressional electoral districts to favor certain political parties and candidates.  It originated in 1812 in Massachusetts (knock me over with a feather.)  Gerrymandering is basically re-districting, and those who win draw the lines.  That's why this past election was so huge:  the fact that the GOP overwhelmed the Democrats all across the country means that they have the upper hand in re-districting.  IMHO, this is the most important aspect of the GOP's win November 2.  At any rate, I recently came across an article that exposes The Top Ten Most Gerrymandered Districts in the US. Some of these maps make a patchwork quilt looks cohesive.  So is it right for the GOP to use their historic victories as mandates for re-districting to their advange?  Darn straight – if the results had been reversed WWPD?  (What Would Progressocrats Do?)

THIS JUST IN – A great alternative to body scanners at airports! The Israelis are developing an airport security device that eliminates the privacy concerns that come with full-body scanners at the airports.  It's a booth you can step into that will not X-ray you, but will detonate any explosive device you may have on you. They see this as a win-win for everyone, with none of the whining about racial profiling. It also would eliminate the costs of long and expensive trials. Justice would be swift. Case closed!  You're in the airport terminal and you hear a muffled explosion. Shortly thereafter an announcement comes over the PA system: "Attention standby passengers — we now have a seat available on flight number ____. Shalom."  (Yes, this is a joke – courtesy of The Patriot Post….but I'd sure like to see this technology implemented!)

Want Something To Cheer About? You've probably heard the story of the California School boy, Cody Alicea, who was told that he needed to remove the flag from his bike because it might cause "racial tensions."  School Tells Boy to Remove American Flag on his Bike Well here's an update:  it turns out there was such an uproar that the school backed down and apologized.  Then, on Monday, Cody was joined by hundreds of other "bikers" as an escort to school:  YouTube – Hundreds Ride With Boy Now THAT"s what I'm talkin' about!!!!!

Lame Duck Alert!  If there is one piece of legislation that comes from this lame duck congress, it may be the new START with Russia.  0bama wants it….bad. But this new START is bad news.  According to the Heritage Foundation:  Treaties such as New START require more scrutiny than others. The Senate needs access to the negotiating record that includes all draft versions of New START, memoranda, notes, and communications between U.S. and Russian negotiators. This record is critical to clear up questions on key provisions in the treaty and, specifically, how the Russians interpret them. The Senate is constitutionally mandated to give due diligence in its consideration of New START. This responsibility is not consistent with the rushed process the White House is seeking.  And 0bama has been lobbying John Kyl hard, since a yes vote from him will mean a yes vote from other Republicans:  Senate's Ratification of  START Hinges on Kyl's Vote

More Lame Duck Mischief….Pay attention to the DREAM Act.  0bama met with members of the Hispanic caucus Tuesday to see how they can get this pushed through.  DREAM Act Plotters at the White House This is a no-brainer – if you're illegal you get NO benefits.  Period.  Then again, there are lots of zombies with no brains in DC.
