So many possible reasons for this beyond not legitimizing the Usurper-in-Chief come to mind. *cough* Federalist 46 *cough* I'm hoping for a rival inauguration. But honestly, did anyone think the Trump team would be dumb enough to be in enemy territory when the federal apparatus ceases to acknowledge his Presidency? 

I'm still hoping for a rival inauguration.
