Kansas Victory: The Untold Story

Dear Lee,

The week of May 7th, the Kansas legislature passed, on a near-unanimous vote, the Kansas version of ALAC (American Laws for American Courts).

According to a Fox News report, Gov. Sam Brownback signed the bill on May 21st.

ALAC prohibits judges from applying foreign law when doing so infringes on the constitutional rights of a party to the case. This can include sharia law.

Numerous media outlets reported the legislature's vote. But here's what happened behind the scenes that didn't get reported.

ACT! for America spearheaded a grassroots effort that produced more than 30,000 phone calls and emails to Kansas legislators.

******** 30,000 !!! ********

This outpouring of grassroots support overwhelmed all opposition to the bill, including efforts by CAIR. Without the ACT! for America grassroots campaign, the 30,000 phone calls and emails wouldn't have happened.

This is just ONE example of how ACT! for America is winning victories for you, your family, your community, and our nation.

How are we doing this?

  • Recruiting and mobilizing chapter leaders, volunteers and members across America.
  • Providing them information, resources and training.
  • Connecting them to each other.
  • Mobilizing them to action.
What is making this possible?

The faithful financial support of our Patriot Partners and Contributing Members. The fact is, without this support we couldn't be doing what we're doing.

Recently we launched our Spring Pledge Drive, because if we're going to keep fighting and winning victories like this one in Kansas, we need the financial support of new Patriot Partners and Contributing Members.

We also want to launch a new program, "The Thin Blue Line Project," later this year. As we've described in previous emails, this will be an online portal housing important educational and informational resources for law enforcement professionals that they're not getting in their counterterrorism training programs.

We need your support to launch this important project, keep our momentum going, and to keep winning these victories!

As our "thank you," we'll mail you Brigitte Gabriel's latest video, "The Purge: How Our Government is Stripping All References to Radical Islam from Counterterrorism Materials."

AND we'll add a bonus DVD—Jihad and the Doctrine of Abrogation.

Every citizen concerned about radical Islam and terrorism should see these videos. So should our law enforcement professionals!

And they will—if we have the resources needed to make "The Thin Blue Line Project" a reality.
