My two comments:
1. Your concerns go with ANY small, readily-concealable pistol. Hate to break this to you, but most people can't readily carry large-frame pistols. That's reality, bud.
As for practice, that's a choice. Most people aren't gun nuts like us, and so don't shoot more than they need to.2. You're missing the point of a "micro 9mm" (though your vid is really just about small handguns, period). Its real value is the use of the ubiquitous military standard caliber for resupply and interoperability in a concealable package. Whatever drawbacks, it will shoot and is generally better than nothing. Perfection is the evil of good enough.
Personally, I've long held ALL servicemen/women should be issued something like that--or perhaps allowed a personal arm within parameters--as ECW and field backup to primary arm. Something small wouldn't add much weight to a soldier's load. Plus, it's just an American thing to do.
