“Heads Carolina” series — Original, Swindell homage, and duet combo.

One point on the Swindell versions: You gotta have both. You need the base version telling the story application, and then the combo version to max it out and consolidate.

HOMAGE:

COMBO:

File under, “Is anyone else old enough to see the similarity?” — Woman’s love life imitating a certain Country song.

As of now, no one directly commenting seems to recognize the similarity between Brett Cooper’s story below, and the 1997 Tim McGraw song, “Just to see you smile.”

Basic fact about turncoat John Kelly’s Nazi shot at President Trump.

Even if true, the thing about John Kelly’s assertions is that when executives are in private settings, they need to be able to express thoughts without having to worry about total PC. They need to be able to rely on confidentiality. And they need to be able to say things in shorthand and without having to qualify every single statement, and yet still be understood in context. When Kelly claimed he told President Trump that certain things “shouldn’t be said,” he destroyed his own cred. He showed himself incapable of operating outside of PC. Thus, not only does his claim represent a breach of confidentiality and prejudicial concealing of context, it exposes his own ideology as in league with our enemies within.

[EDIT] Pop-culture reference: Think of the Star Trek TOS episode “Space Seed.” Kirk, Bones, and Scotty befuddled Spock by admiring and being against Khan at the same time. Kelly knows this is what Trump was doing.
